The Turkish Association of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers is an association whose members are manufacturers, importers and sellers of agricultural machines in our country. Our Association has 218 members. With the permission of Turkish Council of Minister the leading word 'Turkish' was started to use and again with Turkish Council of Minister's approval, TARMAKBIR became a member of CEMA (European Committee of Association of Agricultural Machinery) in 1995. In Turkey, majority of manufactured and imported agricultural machines are made by our members.

First of all, TARMAKBİR is a sector association. Its mission is to guide and support all members, all agricultural machine manufacturers and sellers in all around Turkey in vocational, social, cultural and economic subjects. In the situation of changing market and economic conditions, the aim of our association is to protect our member rights against the legal persons and individuals, to provide the solidarity between the members and their cooperation firms and to help our members in the subject of health and education. TARMAKBİR, who gives importance to foreign market, participated to CEMA (European Committee of Association of Agricultural Machinery) with Turkish Council of Minister's approval. CEMA (European Committee of Association of Agricultural Machinery) is the top association to whom European National Agricultural Machine Manufacturers Associations could become a member. CEMA has 16 members today.

From home and abroad, the people and companies make an application to TARMAKBİR for their machine and partnership demands for their projects. These applications are sent to corresponding members.
The news and developments relevant to our sector both at home and abroad are followed by TARMAKBİR's technical office, the demands and adjudications about agricultural machines and supplier-subcontractor companies are collected and these are sent to the members. Also the laws, statistics, fairs, current news and information in many fields are shared with members.
TARMAKBİR informs its members about the fairs arranged in home and abroad and provides these activities with reduction for the participants and visitors.

With the aim of presenting our members, in 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005 TARMAKBİR has served to its members in the following subjects:
Procedures about industry registration to Ministry of Industrial and Trade and dependent foundations, manufactured goods certificate,
certificate of adequacy in manufacturing, services after selling and guarantee certificate,
Procedures of trademark official registration,
Procedures about test sending, agricultural credit certificate, getting license from Minister for Agriculture and Village Affairs and dependent foundations,
Procedures about selling contract with Agricultural Credit Cooperative, Counseling service for preparing machines' information cataloguesand user manuals.
Also TARMAKBİR helps its members with its studies in different fields. These can be summarized as: Studies on formation of laws,
Studies on formation of statistics information,
Following our members' password and visa taking procedures and approval of exportation invoice procedures,

Finally, the secretary-ship services are done in TARMAKBİR for the members. TARMAKBİR is always ready to communicate and cooperate with foreign associations to improve the technical knowledge of its members and to increase the capacity of exportation and cooperation. For this purpose, TARMAKBİR made a technical cooperation with German Association of Agricultural Machines Manufacturers “LAV” between the years 1990-1995.
